June and July Fun

So Kyle has had a busy Summer so far. We've been busy every weekend this Summer with no break in sight. Here are some highlights.

We spent a long weekend in the Twin Cities early in the Summer. We had fun at teh Water Park of America, billed as the biggest indoor water park. We think that is an unlikely official title, nice water park and all but there must be something bigger. Kyle wants to find it, he went on every ride that they'd let us go on. We went on the 10-story raft raide about 5 times, Kyle loved every minute of it.
Here's Kyle and Dad on the Ferris wheel at The Mall of America, truly the biggest mall in America. We believe this claim. We're satisfied. We don't need to find a bigger mall. We're good.
Here's a picture of Kyle and Mom at breakfast on the farm. Kyle had a great time although ironically there wasn't alot of access to small farm animals.
Kyle got real lucky recently too, Mom found a complete tool bench with tools for Kyle. He's now been more helpful than ever when we have projects going on around the house.
Kyle and Mom went strawberry picking right down the road prior to heading up North for the 4th of July weekend. Yes, Kyle ate alot more than he picked.
Here's a picture of Kyle with his second fish, caught up near Land O' Lakes Wisconsin.
We had a camera malfunction while landing his first fish. He did a great job reeling the fish in, but his casting needs a little work. Kyle had a blast, it helps when the fish cooperate!Kyle, Grandpa and his cousin were very busy reeling in fish and finding fresh worms for the hook. The bluegills, while small, were plentiful. Lot's of fun and great weather too.Kyle had to relax for a little while after a long morning fishing and a long day playing tag and hide and seek.
The latest project was an expansion project on Kyle's treehouse. We added a 16 foot beam to the structure to allow for a few more fun things. It was an all day project butit turned out great. Even more fun for the rest of the summer.
