Does Winter Ever End?
Winter seems to be pretty determined this year. The cold, snow and wind is almost never ending. This has made it hard to get out sledding with Kyle, although we did venture out cross-country skiing a few weeks ago. Kyle was in his sled and Dad pulled him along on the end of a long rope - worked pretty well although the downhills were a little tricky. The sub-zero temperature was a bit of an issue too but Kyle didn't seem to mind as he was bundled up in his arctic gear.
So it's been mostly indoor fun for Kyle lately. Here are few pictures of him recently. He really likes trying on Mom and Dad's shoes. Here he is trying on Dad's new snowboard boots.
Kyle also like to visit Fred in the afternoon. Conveniently for Kyle, Fred likes to nap in the afternoon. We thought it would be good to get a picture of this while Kyle still fits in the other cat bed.
Mom and Dad have been on the road quite a bit lately. A ski trip to Park City followed by a trip Up North for a long weekend. This had made for some quality time for Kyle and the Grandmas and Grandpas - probably his favorite thing in the world. Dad's traveling for work for little bit and then hopefully we'll be all at home for a good stretch. We may even be ringing in Spring in a few months - maybe wishful thinking? Here are some scenes from Korea - great picture from the Hall of 1000 Buddhas...
And here is a picture of a painting on the exterior of a great hall at the same Buddhist monastary, pretty cool stuff...
