Kyle's October

Kyle has had a busy October. He is trying to spend as much time as he can out in the sandbox - but it's getting pretty cold for everyone (Mom & Dad actually) to be out there. We'll keep playing out there until the sand is frozen.

Here's Kyle with his pumpkins from Grandma and Grandpa. They haven't gotten carved up yet but it's only a matter of time for them - the end is near!

Here's a video of Kyle riding on his cousin's 4-wheeler at Grandma & Grandpa's house during Baby Evan's baptism party. He did pretty good for this being the first time that he's been on this kind of contraption.

Goodbye to Summer

Well it looks like Summer is actually over. We had a pretty fun year, with lots of time spent outside playing in the yard and out in Kyle's new treehouse/slide/swing/sandbox. We made a stop at the annual kite festival in Two Rivers over Labor Day for the final beach outing of the year and it was great weather and cool sights.

We also had our final camping trip of the year last weekend too. It was perfect weather for camping for the first 1/2 of the trip but then we got some pretty good rain on the last night and into Sunday when it was time to pack up.

Here's Kyle mixing the batter for a Dutch oven dessert. It was a practice run for our camping trip. We ended up eating too many smore's and pdgy pies so we never got to the "dump cake".
