Updated Links & Inaugural Fire!!!

I'd encourage you to check out some updated links on this website. Several of the links are from close friends that are strewn about the country and are starting off with young families, always exciting and always a handful. The newest link is to Eric Musselmans's Basketball Notebook. E Muss is an ex-NBA coach and does analysis now as he waits for a new job ( I think). We got turned onto this website via the Jim Rome show. This is a great website that is geared towards athletics but there are alot of great tips and insights into life in general - check it out.

Here are a few recent Kylie boy & Daddy pictures. These are taken in front of our front-room fire-place during it's first ever fire. This house is 13 years old and this fireplace has never had a true fire in it!!! It's been home to a couple racks of ornamental candles, Kyle and I changed all of that Monday night.

A quick message to the houligans from Des Moines that tagged our blog - thanks for the note. I don't know if I'm able or willing to list seven little known facts. There's more than enough obscure information scattered on this blog to out-run a such a short list. So here's a short list of some life lessons...

1. Get a pedicure, you'll like it.
2. The absolute best part about running is stopping. Until you start again.
3. Take lots of pictures.
4. If you think something's wrong, it probably is. See a doctor.
5. Don't wash your car, there are more important things to do. But do keep your tractor clean, you never know who's going to stop by.

I declare that Western Pann, Ethan's Blog and Baby Weiland have all been tagged.

November is In Like a Lamb and Out Like a ???

The months started pretty well for Kyle, the weather was really nice, in the 70's, so he was able to get some bonus time outside in the sunshine. It's too bad that didn't last for long, we're now down in the 30's with rain and snow.
Kyle had fun carving "spooky Halloween" pumpkins. We had a Mom, Dad and Baby Kyle pumpkin this year. Kyle didn't dress up this year due to conflicts of Mom & Dad's but he still had a fun halloween. It was a miserable day for trick or treaters here in H-town, I rewarded familiar little monsters and witches with piles of Twix and Kit Kats.

We were able to get a big pile of leaves raked up, hopefully they won't get covered in snow before we can get them all picked up. Kyle was able to take a few runs down the slide into the pile and also has had fun running and jumping into them.

Kyle still isn't ready to give up on his sandbox for the year, we've had some cold hands lately!

Dad has got the garage insulated and dry-walled. A few more steps left in the extreme-garage-makeover still left to complete, but the end is almost visible! Hopefully Kyle will be able to ride his bike and have fun out side this winter without freezing his little buns off.

Thanksgiving is just a few weeks away, so it's time to start with preparations for a fun holiday!
