First Birthday and Winter Fun!

Nathan just had his first birthday! We celebrated with a big family party, the secret Fortner Family BBQ recipe and cake from Manderfield's. Nathan is doing great, he's a big boy and a very happy boy. He is satisfied with rolling everywhere for right now, that and his awesome pivot move and he can get to wherever he needs to go. He's also still sleeping great so he couldn't be doing better.

So Mom got Kyle a special green & gold doughnut for breakfast a few weeks ago. When asked which team's colors are green & gold he answered quickly and correctly - the Oregon Ducks!!! We might have watched a little too much College Gameday on ESPN this year!!! Can you watch too much ESPN???
Winter is finally here. We've been busy getting ready for the holidays and now busy dealing with the onset of Winter. Kyle had a great idea to build a fort after our first big snowstorm this past weekend. We're just getting started, but it's looking pretty good so far. We'll put some finishing touches on this fort later this week. Kyle also did some of his first skiing this weekend in the yard, he officially got first tracks in the family this year!!!

We've also been having some visitors to the yard over the last few weeks. We think that this is Mom and Baby Whitetail. We've seen them 3 times recently, although this is the most close up that we've seen. Kyle saw these guys in the backyard today and we were able to catch some video right out of our house - pretty cool.



And finally, here is a clip of Kyle shaking his booty. He's an accomplished dancer, particulalry when it comes to watch American Idol, So You Think You Can Dance, Dancing With the Stars or any other music/dance related show. In this clip Kyle is dancing to a musical guest on Live! with Regis and Kelly.
