The End (of the Year) Is Near!
Where does the time go? It's hard to believe but updating this blog hasn't been high on the priority list. I blame it all on Elliot, he put us over the top on the free time scale. That's not totally fair to Elliot as it's been a team effort around here, everybody has plenty to stay busy between work, home, swimming and everything else. We're also trying to keep up with Elliot as he's walking like a champ and starting to form lots of words. So far he's up to Milk, Mickey, go, Dad, Mom, Neigh-Neigh, beer and numerous animal sounds. Kyle is something like "Bah", not sure about that one yet. It's just been very hard to find time to fit it all in, just keep chipping away. So, this post will have to get us caught up between the start of the school year all the way up to the week before Christmas. So here we go...
Big Milestone #1 for the Fall: Kyle goes to 1st Grade!
Big Milestone #2: Nathan's first trip to Quarry Quest
The best part of Quarry Quest is lunch and ice cream in down town Neenah. This year Nathan had a hotdog while dad had a gyro. We finished up with some ice cream too, awesome!
Nathan and Kyle with their new Food Network aprons! These guys are great helpers and expert pancake chefs!
Big Milestone #4: Halloween
Nathan had his first professional haircut. He looked pretty different after getting a good trim!
Big Milestone #4: Nathan turns 3!!!
Big Milestone #5: Christmas tree hunting and other stuff!
Oh yeah, Thanksgiving(s) were in there somewhere too. Elliot is eating a pilgrim hat cookie to prove it! That's all for now, lots of great times right around the corner with Santa on his way!
