Easter 2013, Kyle's Birthday, School's Out ann Breakfast On the Farm - Whew!
It's been a busy couple of months as usual. We flew into Easter even though winter still had a firm grip on Wisconsin. We again did our Easter egg hunt inside the house, we didn't want to freeze our eggs or lose them in the snow!!!
Grandma made the boys capes too, this way they can all be official super-heroes. They've had lots of fun with these so far, especially Nathan.
Kyle celebrated his 7th birthday last month, time really flies doesn't
it? He had three birthday parties, one for his school friends (Mom-made
cupcakes), one with the immediate family (Dairy Queen Ice-Cream Cake)
and the other with the whole family (Manderfields birthday cake -
yummy!!!). Kyle got lots of great presents including Lego Ninjago toys,
books and some other cool stuff.
Before you knew it Kyle completed another successful year at school. He had a great year in 1st grade. He made some new friends, did awesome at reading and math and performed in his school musical. It was a great year and we're really proud of him. Nathan is eager to start pre-K in the fall. Elliot will be a lonely boy when both big brothers are away at school, that's for sure.
We then had a another great weekend visiting breakfast on the farm. This is an annual tradition and we had a nice time eating cheese, climbing on tractors, petting cows and goats, wagon-riding and eating ice-cream. What else could a couple of little guys want?
